Walking by the Lake and Thinking about Changes in the AI Era
August 1, 2023
After dinner, I took a walk by the lake and sat down, thinking about my recent experience with ChatGPT while the wind blew. This thing has been popular for a long time, and I've been using it for a while. I feel that it can indeed help with work. Compared to search engines, its results are more readable and more accurate. It's not that search engines are less accurate than ChatGPT, but rather that you have to find the results you want from many search results, while ChatGPT can better understand what you're asking, logically provide an answer, and also allow continuous questioning. It can logically interpret previous and subsequent questions, leading to deeper exploration, which search engines currently cannot compare to.
Social Observations and Reflections in the Epidemic Era
October 19, 2022
It's been a long time since I recorded anything. The first half of this year passed in an instant. After the Chinese New Year, I renovated the rural house where I lived as a child. In this restless world, hidden in a place surrounded by mountains and lakes, having my own house, reading books, surfing the internet, researching things I like, with a moderate workload every day, maintaining the ability and enthusiasm to learn and research, and thinking about travel plans in my spare time, for me, this is a sufficiently luxurious yet not decadent life.

Metaverse (Part 1)
November 13, 2021
I watched FB's boss explain the concept of the metaverse for over an hour. Although I used to be very keen on cutting-edge technologies, I've been somewhat disgusted with the development of these high-techs in the past year. I feel that the whole world, society, and people have become strange in an indescribable way. The more technology develops, the more peculiar society becomes. Everyone on the street and subway is looking down at their phones, scrolling and scrolling. Where are there so many boring things to watch? After watching so much "rich and nutritious" information every day, life is still the same 9 to 5, struggling hard, living with all their might. Everyone's facial expression on the subway on Monday morning is the same emoji.
Installing Windows
November 10, 2021
Last year, I replaced all the broken bridge aluminum doors and windows in my Wuxi house. These two days, I need to replace the broken bridge aluminum windows in my Shanghai house again. The original plastic steel windows have been in disrepair for a long time, and their sliding and sealing properties are not very good. My dad complained that the windows were too heavy to pull... Forget it, just replace them all.
